Hello from Medicine Springs Ranch in Carmen, Idaho!
I have been collecting and grafting old fruit varieties from original homesteads in the west, and over the past 15 years have worked to develop new fruit varieties. In 2026, that project will sunset as I have moved on to chicken genetics, which allows for much faster results and is a lot more fun! In addition to my background in fruit development and environmental services, I have attended yoga schools in the USA and India, and completed a one-year apprenticeship with an executive chef in a Michelin restaurant. For over 25 years, I have been teaching yoga, fermenting, foraging, cooking, breeding chickens, and organic gardening classes.
